Do my crew need to be tech-savvy?
No. If they can text, they can use ShopCrew. Clock-in is one tap, and the mobile app installs straight from the browser — no app store required.
How does the GPS clock-in work?
Each punch records the worker's location at that moment — clock-in and clock-out only, never in the background. You set a geofence per job site; punches outside it get flagged for review. If a phone can't get a GPS fix, the punch still goes through and is simply unverified.
Will it sync with my payroll and books?
Yes — approved hours push to Gusto for payroll, and invoices and expenses sync to QuickBooks Online. Stripe handles online payments.
Does ShopCrew track materials and inventory?
Job costing already captures material costs on every job. A full inventory module is rolling out now: your item catalog with par levels, crew logging material pulls from their phones against the job they're clocked into, live counts, and a reorder list grouped by supplier. It's included on Crew plans and up.
Can I change plans as I grow?
Anytime. Upgrade or downgrade from the billing page — Stripe prorates the difference automatically. Need more seats than your plan allows? Move up a tier, or talk to us about a custom setup.
